The 2007 season was a great success with the catch rate for king salmon alone nearly 100% among all our clients. All of our salmon fishermen at Alaska Discount Vacations fishing lodge and fish camp caught many daily limits of sockeye(red) and silver(coho) salmon as well as the mighty king salmon(largest 87 lbs). Salmon fishing guides John Iverson, Zac Lloyd, Bill Withrow, Jerry Strieby and Bob & Joann Saxton knew where to be and how to get them all season long. Trout fishing and silver salmon was fantastic in August and September right through to closing. John and Zac had doubles going all day long. Vacationing fisherman fishing on our Homer halibut charter with Captain Mark Millspaugh and those fishing with Captain Barry Wright on the Barn Door fishing from Ninilchik had limit catches every day. |
